Law firms unite for Teenage Cancer Trust

Staff from Kingslegal personal injury defence specialists in Newport and Hugh James solicitors will be joined forces for a charity ball on the 9th November 2008 at Revolution Bar, Cardiff. The ball took place to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust Cardiff, in memory of former 19 year old Hugh James employee, Jade Pemberton, who passed away this year due to lymphatic cancer.

The ball, organised by Jade's former colleagues, took place on what would have been her 20th birthday and is hoping to generate around £10,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust Cardiff (TCT).

Kingslegal hosts Mock Trial for insurance industry

Personal injury defence specialists, Kingslegal is holding a Mock Trial at its headquarters this September to show insurance claims handlers and managers how the correct evidence, properly gathered and prepared, can ensure a successful outcome for insurers in personal injury cases.

Insurance claims handlers and managers play a vital role in the evidence gathering and assessment process of personal injury claims but with many cases being settled out of court some may not understand just how crucial it is ensure the correct evidence is prepared.

39 Essex Street Chambers is co-hosting the event and guest speakers include personal injury barristers Richard Davies QC, Christian Du Cann and Derek O’Sullivan. There will also be an update session on recent personal injury developments and a workshop on witness statement preparation.
